PromiseK14 connects students and teachers all around the world through face-to-face, real-time and interactive classrooms for English language training.  Our goals go deeper than just language acquisition, and they are to nurture reading habits, build critical thinking skills, help families spend more time together, and promote excellent education at an affordable price for every student. Most of our students attend rural elementary schools, and they are unable to receive quality English language training from native English speaking teachers. But thanks to 21st century technology and dedicated teachers like you, now they can!

 

 

General Information:

Compensation starts at $17/hour
Increasing pay scale
Great resume experience
Chance to work as managers for part- or full time 

Qualifications:
State or TESOL certification
A highspeed Internet connection, modern personal computer, and a webcam
Must be a Native Speaker of English 

The following positions are open:


Virtual Class Teacher for foreign schools
Days: 6 days a week (Sunday - Friday)

Teacher Information

» Qualifications

 

Writers, authors, professors, experienced teachers are preferred as well as those who have state teacher certification, or TESOL certification.

...but most of all, a positive, dedicated attitude towards educating students!



» Selection Process 

- Candidate’s application and job fitness assessment reviewed 
- Candidate's resume, transcript, essay, and references reviewed
- Initial teacher candidates selected
- Applicant interview 
- Criminal background check

- 5-10 minute mock lesson presentation
- Final Position Approval

» Training

- Software training by PromiseK14 admin staff
- Methodology training by PromiseK14 teachers
Hired teachers will observe live online classes in preparation for their own work. All training is paid. Teachers will be required to purchase a web camera and microphone as well as any course textbooks needed to instruct their classes. The selection and training process on average takes approximately 4 weeks. After training, teachers will be placed in a waiting pool and matched with students or classes as they become available, and begin teaching their classes!
